Learn the stories behind the recipes and enjoy dozens of original illustrations, many of which include references to Sid's performances.
The Sid City Social Club International Cookbook is the end result of a three-month-long project spearheaded by Giuditta Rem. After a few weeks of attending the social club, and hearing Sid’s love of cooking and interest in what others are cooking during lockdown, they conceived the idea of collecting recipes for a unique cookbook as a thank you gift for Sid.
It morphed into something even more special.
Recipes were submitted during the month of June, then came the task of editing each submission and organizing the dishes into categories. Giuditta invited artists to submit illustrations for various recipes and special pages turning this cookbook into a vibrant collection of recipes, stories, and art from around the world.
A PDF copy of the cookbook was presented to Sid during our September 4, 2020, social club meeting and is now available to anyone who would like their own copy.
Goodwill Donations
The digital version of the cookbook is offered free of charge; however, we are accepting goodwill donations. Funds received for the Sid City Social Club International Cookbook will be donated to the following organizations:
