Welcome to the Sid City Book Club!
Alexander Siddig is currently filming Shantaram, a series for Apple TV+ based on the novel* by Gregory David Roberts. Since many of us were planning to tackle the novel ourselves before the show premieres, we decided to make it a group activity for those interested in digging a little deeper.
We’ve outlined a schedule (below) that allows a few weeks to read each section, then we’ll meet via Zoom to discuss amongst ourselves. Each book club meeting will be led by a different moderator to encourage multiple points of view. We’re also creating supplemental materials like character breakdowns and recaps.
Our next meeting is Friday, September 10 at 3:00 p.m. Eastern.
