Per Variety, Oscar-winner Marisa Tomei and Fringe's Joshua Jackson have signed on to play leads opposite Alexander Siddig in Inescapable. The film, written and directed by Ruba Nadda, is the story of a Syrian expatriate (Siddig) whose journalist daughter goes missing in Damascus. He must return to his homeland to find her despite the risks, and calls on a former love (Tomei) to help him. An embassy official (Jackson) is at first helpful but may have an agenda of his own.
