Hi!

"What You Come Back To" is a virtual season 8 of Deep Space Nine. The WYCBT Project was founded 1999 by a few dedicated fans of DS9 who wished to see more of the beloved crew following the television show's end. (Most, if not all of them, members or former members of SidCity over the years.) This project aims to carry on where the show left off and continue telling stories about the far-flung station known as Deep Space Nine, using existing DS9 characters and some new ones too.

We currently have 14 episodes, which can be found through the SidCity Library. Check them out if you haven't seen them yet.

However, we have reached the point where we need more people. We need people interested in writing, editing, plotting, and just plain being part of the Niners and contributing to WYCBT. No first-born children or life-time commitments, just a little time and enthusiasm.

Is there interest?

I´m not a very good writer and my stories are always rubbish.

I read it some time ago. Though, I'm not sure if I've read all chapters, yet. (Liked it.)
I love to write! But unfortunately I have to do three times 20 pages for uni - so, no time this summer.
But if you'll still need people later this year, I'd love to help. (Dark winter months are always inspiring. biggrin.gif )

We have a new episode posted, "The Hidden Orb."

One of the vedeks brings a newly revealed Orb to the station, bringing the other kai candidates there too, and causing a great deal of excitement for the Bajoran population. Emyn has difficulties with the politics of religion, and Kira is invited to experience another orb vision, while Ezri urges Endar to show some interest in Bajoran culture. Then Quark spots a dangerous stranger in his bar....

Bumping this thread with a question!

Being behind the times and just getting into DS9 this year, I just came across WYCBT this morning. Bummer that it took me so long, but I'm really glad I found it. Unfortunately....while episodes 1 and 3 both work (I didn't test anything beyond episode 3), none of the links for episode 2 on whatyoucomebackto.com seem to work! I really enjoyed episode 1 and would love to read episode 2. Could anybody by chance either point me in the direction of working links for episode 2 or even email me a copy if one is still kicking around in document form? I'm not terribly particular about /how/ I read it, I just really want to. smile.gif

If anyone's able to help me out with this, I'd really appreciate it! Thanks in advance!

Eep! Talk about a cliffhanger...I got to the end of episode 3, chapter 2...and discovered the link to chapter 3 not working. The rest of the episode is working fine, though. Any chance of this one getting fixed, as well? Thanks! smile.gif
