First... a disclaimer.

ok so I never claimed to be any good at this game and goodness knows I'm no artist. Know it's a bit wonky but anyway. I don't know if hand drawn arty stuff counts strictly as "graphics" and I hope it does but sorry if not. I'm no good at Computer art anyway. Just thought to share.

Second...

Got some arty supplies for Christmas this year and just am playing around a bit. (Textas, pastels, that kind of thing...) Might stick a bigger version up on deviantart or something I dunno.

Hopefully it doesn't suck. give_rose.gif

Cheers.

*sigh* silly old Photobucket isn't resizing things properly again. Oh well. Least it worked. ~tsuki no kage otaku jo.

Hi O-jo

I like your drawing. You know, if you lay your finger across his eyes and look at the lower part of his face, he looks like Quark.

bye1.gif hi too.

* I don't usually try portraits either - not of real people anyway.
* Stop painting and drawing?? *eep* isn't that kind of like giving up breathing??
* That's an interesting question. Japanese symbols (katakana) on piccy reads - in syllables - JU-RI-A-N * BA-SHI-I-RU... And the little Roman symbols (romaji) at bottom is just a random tag of translate my username. Maybe was in a random japanese mood that day.

Okay I got another one...
This is just an outline for hopefully an A3 drawing in oil pastels (just started) and if you like I'll post the finished pic when it's finished. (Could be a few months to a year away.)

I am hoping to make this the fourth of a set. Just for fun though because I don't know yet if it'll turn out any good.

Oh and I got the idea from listening to podcasts a few years back. It's a nineteenth century kind of steampunk theme of DS9 main characters.

ok now I admit I'm just being silly.

Took still partially finished pics on my computer and fiddled around with the colours and formatting (AUTOCORRECT, since when was "Colours" a spelling error?!!?!) Now I just got the background to do.

~~ ps. Be gentle; I never claimed to have any talent at this!

Finn-Ished *imagine a bitonal singsong voice* Yay.

And now there are four (pics in this set).

I love Steampunk too; the more I learn about it, the more intriguing it sounds.
Went to a small Steampunk-themed fair at the Gasworks Museum in South Dunedin yesterday (and made a raygun out of an old plastic bottle.)
It was cool fun.

Gonna start another one of these piccas soon -- but I put them all up on Deviantart as I go.

Would you be willing to have this in the newsletter? I would, of course, credit you as you prefer -- with your SidCity name, real name or both.

It would be the January issue, so you have some time to think about it.
