O-Jo. Are multi region DVD players available as this might help.

Jude.

Good suggestion (hehe) I actually do have a multiregional player myself, (mostly to play all the DVDs I got in Japan~~ different region and all.) Trouble is that the cost of international shipping for internet orders is pretty prohibitive, and I've been screwed around by too many shopping sites to trust anyone outside of New Zealand to get it to me if I paid!! Not sure if it's the shipping companies or what, but in any case they never reach me here. Even some other thing that was supposed to be a prize never came and made me feel kind of :-( for a bit. But no wurries I can wait a bit longer for the price to drop at fishpond.

btw the giftshop at Otago Museum (one of our local museums here) has a really truly mammoth tooth fossil on sale for a squillion $$ or something. (Well more like a few grand ~~ who has?? lol.)

Hi everyone! Sorry I haven't been around much for the last few months. Working long hours in Alaska!

I have seen all 5 seasons of Primeval and I really enjoyed the show. I hope they come out with season 6. biggrin.gif

I couldn't wait for it to come out on dvd or on netflix so I went to ovguide.com and did a search for it under tv shows.

Most of the sites you need to pay for but some like megavideo.com, you can watch in 72 min increments.

I hated that site-Whenever I tried that site to watch Spooks:Nest of Angels, they would stop the episode halfway through saying I used up all my time, even if it was the first time that day that I was on their site-and the episode is way less than 72min long

(don't worry-I got the Spooks episode thanks to my library having that series to borrow)

I bought that from Amazon. Just that one episode. Of course right after that is when they added the free British TV Series to Amazon Prime. dry.gif

Isn't that always the way?

Oh -- while we're at it...

Expected in early September. Arrived in late August. (Squee!)

The plan, which I'm actually succeeding at with some surprise, is to watch one episode per week... Kind of like if I was taping off the telly. Which of course means watching episode one a thousand times 'cos I just can't resist...!

Wanna know what happened to Sid and Nancy from 3rd series because they were SOO cute!! Although on second thoughts, no. Don't tell me. (Lester probably ate 'em for breakfast with eggs on toast.) Spoilers, bad.
